London - US pop star Madonna and her film director husband Guy Ritchie are to be divorced during proceedings at the High Court in London Friday, it was announced Thursday. The couple announced the end of their seven-year marriage a month ago and said they wanted the divorce to go through before Christmas.
The case is listed for a "quickie" divorce under the names Ciccone M L v Ritchie G S, and will be heard before a judge in the High Court's Family Division.
