Munich - Bayern Munich's French defender Willy Sagnol is considering ending his career if his injury problems are not resolved by the end of the season. "If things are not better by May I will retire," Sagnol was quoted as saying in Monday's Kicker sports magazine.
The 31-year-old full-back needed surgery on an Achilles tendon after playing for France at Euro 2008, and an inflammation has since hindered his recovery.
Sagnol, who won the Champions League with Bayern in 2001 and has played 184 times for the German champions, has yet to play a game this season.
