Baghdad - A car-bomb attack in a square in central Baghdad killed four civilians on Wednesday, the news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI) reported. The explosion, which took place in Nasr Square, also injured 12 passers-by.
Elsewhere, one civilian was shot dead and four injured in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk by a man wearing an Iraqi army uniform, police sources in the city said.
The sources told VOI that an investigation had been begun to find the perpetrators of the attack.
