Madrid - Euro 2008 hero Fernando Torres has been recalled to the Spain squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Estonia and Belgium. Torres, who scored the winning goal in the Euro 2008 final against Germany, missed Spain's September defeats of Bosnia and Armenia due to an injury picked up playing for Liverpool.

Two other players returning to the Spain squad - announced by national manager Vicente del Bosque on Friday afternoon - after injury are Alvaro Arbeloa, another Liverpool player, and Valencia captain Carlos Marchena.

The only surprise given by Del Bosque is the return of Bojan Krkic to the Under-21 side.

The 18 year-old Barcelona starlet finally made his full Spain debut in September, but has now been sent back to play with the other youngsters.

Del Bosque's squad is as follows:

GOALKEEPERS: Iker Casillas (Real Madrid), Jose Reina (Liverpool)

DEFENDERS: Alvaro Arbeloa (Liverpool), Andoni Iraola (Athletic Bilbao), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Carlos Marchena (Valencia), Raul Albiol (Valencia), Carles Puyol (Barcelona), Juanito Gutierrez (Betis), Fernando Navarro (Sevilla), Joan Capdevila (Deportivo Coruna)

MIDFIELDERS: Marcos Senna (Villarreal), Xavi Hernandez (Barcelona), Andres Iniesta (Barcelona), Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Xabi Alonso (Liverpool), Santi Cazorla (Villarreal)

FORWARDS: Fernando Torres (Liverpool), David Villa (Valencia), Daniel Guiza (Fenerbahce), Diego Capel (Sevilla)

Spain will face Estonia in Tallin on 11 October, then Belgium in Brussels on 15 October.
