Washington - US Senator Edward Kennedy, who is undergoing treatment for brain cancer, received hospital treatment Friday after suffering a mild seizure but returned home late in the day, the family said. He was taken by ambulance from the Kennedy family compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, to nearby Cape Cod Hospital in south- eastern Massachusetts, south of Boston, the Boston Globe reported early Saturday on its website. Kennedy returned home within a few hours. His doctors blamed the seizure on a change in anti-seizure medication, according to a family statement. Seizures are a common side effect of brain-tumour treatment.
