Hamburg - Rafael Nadal of Spain maintains top spot ahead of former number one Roger Federer in an unchanged men's tennis rankings issued on Monday by the ATP. French Open and Wimbledon champion Nadal continues to lead the way on 7,000 points, with US Open winner Federer on 5,930 and Australian Open winner Novak Djokovic of Serbia third on 4,855 points.

ATP top 10 as of September 22 (previous ranking in parenthesis): 1. (1) Rafael Nadal, Spain, 7,000 points; 2. (2) Roger Federer, Switzerland, 5,930; 3. (3) Novak Djokovic, Serbia, 4,855; 4. (4) Andy Murray, Britain, 3,040; 5. (5) David Ferrer, Spain, 2,490; 6. (6) Nikolay Davydenko, Russia, 2,400; 7. (7) David Nalbandian, Argentina, 1,975; 8. (8) Andy Roddick, United States, 1,845; 9.
