Berlin - US director Quentin Tarantino was near Berlin on Thursday preparing to shoot a war movie, Inglorious Bastards, starring Hollywood actors Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger, according to a studio spokesman. The movie is about a group of Jewish soldiers in the US Army who are sent on a nearly suicidal mission in France during World War II.
Spokesman Eike Wolf said Tarantino was at the Babelsberg Studios outside the capital preparing for shooting to begin next month. Actors cast for the film include Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger.
