Sydney - Four activists from the environmental group Greenpeace International stormed a logging ship at Paia Harbour in Papua New Guinea, the organization said in a statement released Wednesday in Sydney. The action prevented the Harbour Gemini from loading logs bound for China, the group said.
Greenpeace said the Harbour Gemini was in the employ of the Malaysian logging giant Rimbunan Hijau Group. It accused the company of breaking Papua New Guinea's forestry laws.
