Milan - Portuguese midfielder Ricardo Quaresma Monday was to sign his new contract with Italian champions Inter Milan after four season at FC Porto, the ANSA news agency reported. Inter are said to have paid Porto 18.6 million euros (27.2 million dollars), plus the transfer of Portuguese midfielder Pele, who was valued 6 million euros, and several bonuses linked to Quaresma's performance during the next three seasons.
The international winger, who turns 25 on September 26, is considered one of Portugal's best players along with Cristiano Ronaldo and can play on both flanks of the attack.
He arrived in Milan Sunday night and is to undergo medical tests before signing with Inter.
