Chandigarh, Jan 22 A Chandigarh police official was arrested Monday after he was accused of outraging the modesty of a junior woman police official inside another police station.Inspector Jagir Singh, station house officer (SHO) of the Sector 34 police station, was arrested after a case of outraging modesty of a woman was registered against him at the Sector 17 police station.Police sources said the woman sub-inspector, posted in the city's crime branch, alleged that the SHO molested her after holding her from the hair.The case was registered after senior police officials gave the green signal for the same. The SHO was also placed under suspension.
