Frankfurt - A German Lufthansa AG airline collided with a bus on a Frankfurt airport runway, officials said Thursday. The Airbus A340 aircraft and its 236 passengers and crew had just landed from Tehran and was taxing its terminal parking position when it hit the bus. The passenger bus was empty at the time of the collision.
No-one was injured in the incident, which resulted in only minor damage to the aircraft, said a spokesman for Frankfurt Airport operator, Fraport AG.
Officials have now launched an investigation into the indcident.
