Beijing - Chinese super star Liu Xiang, who on Monday had to withdraw from the men's 110m hurdles at the Beijing Olympics, could benefit to the tune of 100 million Yuan (14.5 million dollars) thanks his injury. Liu is said to have insured himself against an injury with the Ping An insurance company, Chinese media reported Wednesday, adding that the insurance company is currently looking into a possible claim. The defending Olympic champion was considered China's best hope of winning a track and field gold medal.
