SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Hewlett-Packard Co, the world's biggest computer maker, reported a higher quarterly profit on Tuesday on strong international sales in its notebook computer and printer businesses.HP reported net income for the fiscal quarter ending July 31 of $2.5 billion, or 80 cents a share, up from $1.78 billion, or 66 cents per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter.Revenue rose 10 percent to $28.0 billion, ahead of Wall Street expectations of $27.43 billion.The Palo Alto, California-based company forecast fiscal fourth-quarter profit of 95 cents to 97 cents a share on revenue of $30.2 billion to $30.3 billion.Revenue from outside the United States accounted for 68 percent of the total. Adjusted for currency exchange rates, Europe, Middle East and Africa revenue rose 5 percent and Asia Pacific revenue rose 8 percent.
