New York - US celebrity magazine People has obtained the first heavily sought after baby photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's newborn twins, the magazine announced on its website Friday. The twins Vivenne Marcheline and Knox Leon were born July 12 in France to celebrity couple "Brangelina".

People paired with British magazine Hello! in the multi-million- dollar battle to secure the rights to the first photographs, the New York Post newspaper reported. People has the US rights, while Hello! will publish the pictures in the rest of the world. The Post estimated the cost for the photos as 11 million to 15 million dollars.

The first photos will be published on people.com at 7 pm Sunday (2300 GMT).
