Madrid - Spanish football club Real Betis announced the signing of Cameroonian midfielder Achille Emana on Tuesday in a move from French club Toulouse. Betis will pay 6.5 million euros (10.31 million dollars) to French club Toulouse for Emana, who has signed a five-year contract with Betis.
Emana, 26, flew into Seville on Monday evening and told the local media that "I am happy because I have been waiting for this for a long tyime...I am going to give to Betis everything that God has given to me, to demonstrate my football."
The tall and powerful Emana is Betis' second summer signing, after playmaker Marco (Mehmet) Aurelio from Fenerbahce.
