Singapore - Online hotel reservation service provider Asiatravel.com forecast Thursday that it would maintain room-bookings growth despite a drop in Asia-bound traffic from major markets. Asiatravel.com plans to launch websites in Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Japanese and Arabic in a bid to tap those markets, a statement said.
It has also been expanding its services. Customers can book flights as well as hotel and flight packages departing from 10 countries, including Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Indonesia.
By the end of 2008, Asiatravel.com's customers are to be able to purchase combined hotel and flight packages for all key countries in Asia.
