Singapore - Singapore and Thailand plan to expand cooperation in vocational and technical training, teaching of mathematics and science and the use of information and communication technology, the city-state's education ministry said on Wednesday. Somchai Wongsawat, Thailand's deputy prime minister and minister of education, was on a two-day official visit to Singapore at the invitation of his counterpart Ng Eng Hen.
It was the first meeting between the two education ministers.
Somchai visited the National Institute of Education, Institute of Technical Education and other schools Tuesday and Wednesday to observe the application of information and communication technology, the ministry's statement said.
