Cairo - Ten people were killed and 17 wounded Thursday in a gunfight in Benha, 48 kilometers north of the Egyptian capital, a security source said. The source said that the fight started when members ofthe al- Kilani family hired a wanted criminal to kick out some gangsters from their land, pledging to pay him in land.
When the al-Kilani family killed the wanted criminal instead, his family attacked al-Kilani family's house.
The source said that all casualties were from the al-Kilani family.
