Spain and Germany to determine top Euro earner in final

Vienna - Unbeaten Spain lead the way ahead of Germany into the Euro 2008 final on Sunday which apart from the trophy will also determine the top earner at the tournament. Spain has so far raked in a maximum 20 million euros (31.4 million dollars) in bonusses from the ruling body UEFA, with Germany second on 19 million euros. Another 3.5 million euros are available for Sunday's winner.

Winless Greece rank last, taking home only the 7.5-million euros appearance fee each of the 16 finalists recieved from a total UEFA purse of 184 million euros.

A group stage win was worth one million euros and a draw there 500,000. The quarter-finals were worth two million euros, the semis three and the final 4.5 million euros.

While Spain has won all of its five games, Germany lost in the group stage to Croatia.
