Abercrombie & Fitch posts higher profit : US Business

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Teen apparel retailer Abercrombie &Fitch Co reported higher quarterly profit on Friday, helped by higher sales in all its chains and better gross profit.

The seller of casual clothes like jeans and T-shirts for teens said quarterly net profit was $62.1 million, or 69 cents per share, in the first quarter, which ended on May 3, compared with $60.1 million, or 65 cents per share, in the year-ago period.
