LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Yahoo Inc may announce a deal to carry search advertisements from Google Inc within a week as it defends itself from the threat of a hostile takeover bid by Microsoft Corp , the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.The two Internet companies are discussing a nonexclusive deal that they believe could pass antitrust scrutiny, the Journal said, citing people familiar with the matter.Yahoo and Google declined to comment.(Reporting by Peter Henderson; Editing by Braden Reddall)
