Remarks as Prepared for Delivery
Here's a new way to stay connected with the campaign, text messaging. Last
week we announced Joe Biden for vice president by text message. Tonight, we're
taking it to another level.
Take your phones out now. Let's see them! If you look at the jumbo screen,
you will see our interactive map that shows which states have the most people
signed up for text messaging.
Let's find out which state can sign up the most supporters.
When you text "DNC" and your message of support to "OBAMA", or 62262, the
star of your state will grow larger. Colorado has home-field advantage, so
other states will have to work hard to catch up.
Let's do it. Text "DNC," plus your message of support for Barack Obama to
62262 now, and let's grow our map. Some of your messages will appear on the
big screen, and we will send you occasional updates to let you know how you
can help.
Let's light up the map and let's light a path for America's future!
