Frankfurt - German engineering giant Siemens AG said Monday it is to build two wind parks in Poland worth about 100 million euros (159 million dollars). Siemens Energy, said it had won two orders from RWE Innogy to supply wind 33 turbines to the Suwalki project in Masuria and at Tychowo in Western Pomerania.

The wind turbines, which are to come in into operation late in 2009, will have a capacity of 2.3 megawatts each with Siemens seeing Poland as having considerable potential in wind energy.

RWE Innogy is the new alternative energy offshoot of German power group RWE AG.
