Kabul - One NATO soldier, 17 construction workers, 11 policemen and five Taliban militants were killed in a series of fresh attacks in Afghanistan, officials said on Tuesday. The recent attack happened on Tuesday on Kabul-Kandahar highway, where a group of Taliban fighters attacked a road construction company convoy, killing 17 workers and wounding 15 others, the Interior Ministry said. "Seventeen innocent workers were killed and 15 others were wounded," ministry spokesman Zemarai Bashary told Deutsche Presse- Agentur
