Stuttgart - Spanish star Rafael Nadal heads the field and Anna Kournikova will also grace the Stuttgart clay court tennis tournament in August with her presence, local organizers said on Thursday. World number two Nadal will be aiming for a third title at the 568,000-euros (887,000-dollars) Weissenhof event which takes place July 7-13. He is also set to team up with the former Russian star Kournikova in an exhibition mixed match to celebrate the 30th edition of the tournament. Former French Open winner Juan Carlos Ferraro has also been signed and organizers said they were close to getting the nod from Australian Open finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France. However, it remains unclear whether German top players Nicolas Kiefer and Tommy Haas will play in Stuttgart as well.
