Tehran - Iran Friday harshly condemned the anti-Islamic video made by Dutch legislator Geert Wilders and warned of "consequences of such provocative move."In a press statement, Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini termed the video "insulting and anti-Islamic" and symbolic for the "deep antagonism" of some Western states towards Islam and Moslems.

The leader of the Dutch Freedom Party posted on the internet his film, Fitna (Discord), which features passages from the Koran, speeches by extremist Islamic preachers and violent images.

The spokesman called on the European Union in general and the Dutch and British government in particular to stop the showing of the video and to respect what over a billion Moslem worldwide hold sacred.
