Hong Kong - A suspected prostitute has been found strangled with the hose of a shower in her bathroom, Hong Kong police said Saturday. The 35-year-old was discovered by police who broke down the door of her flat in the early hours of Saturday morning after a call from the woman's 74-year-old husband who feared she had collapsed.
She had the hose of the shower wound around her neck and later was certified dead at hospital.
The flat had been ransacked and money was missing.
Police said the death is being treated as suspicious and a post mortem examination would be held Saturday.
