Milan - AC Milan striker Ronaldo returned to Italy Tuesday to continue rehabilitation from knee surgery, ANSA reported. The Brazilian star, 31, was operated on February 14 at a Paris hospital where doctor Eric Rolland repaired the rupture of the rotula ligament in his left knee.
He suffered the injury during a Serie A home game his side drew 1-1 with Livorno a day earlier.
Ronaldo, who underwent a similar operation on the right knee in 2000, is expected back on the pitch in November.
