Cologne - Spore, an eagerly awaited computer game from Will Wright, the creator of the Sims, is in its final test phase and due to hit stores on September 5, according to publisher Electronic Arts. The game lets players combine strategy, design and action as they create new life forms. Play starts by creating one-celled organisms in a primordial soup and then helping them evolve into into a successful civilization that can eventually conquer the stars.
