Gaza City - Two Palestinian civilians were killed on Thursday night in an Israeli airstrike that hit their vehicle in western Gaza City, witnesses and medics said. The witnesses said that an Israeli missile missed a car full of militants and hit a truck delivering soft drinks, killing two people in the truck.

Mo'aweya Hassanein, chief of emergency and ambulance services in the Palestinian Health Ministry, said that two civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a Coca-Cola truck in western Gaza City.

He said the deaths brought the death toll since Wednesday morning to 30 people killed, including three from the West Bank city of Nablus, and 27 from Gaza, including eight children. The rest were militants.

Israeli drones and aircraft were seen over the Gaza Strip on Thursday and targeted militants launching homemade rockets from the enclave at southern Israeli towns and communities.
