Peltz plans to nominate Wendy's board candidates

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Nelson Peltz's Trian Partners has sent a letter to Wendy's International Inc , saying it intends to nominate candidates for the restaurant chain's board at its upcoming annual shareholders' meeting.The disclosure was made in a filing on Monday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.Billionaire investor Peltz's Triarc Cos Inc , which owns the Arby's fast-food chain, has made a bid for Wendy's.(Reporting by Nicole Maestri, editing by Gerald E.
