BOSTON, Feb. 5 Democrat Sen. Barack Obama said Tuesday's Illinois primary is the most important to him from among the two dozen taking place across the United States.
"That's where I live," Obama, D-Ill., quipped in an interview from Massachusetts with CBS' "The Early Show."
Obama labeled rival Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., "the prohibitive favorite going in, given her name recognition" but noted voter concerns with the economy and the need to regain control of special interests in Washington.
Obama discounted the impact of celebrity endorsements, saying voters are more interested in someone "who can listen to (their) concerns Â… and then translate that into actual programs and policies that help people achieve their dreams."
