COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, Jan. 6 Two bus bombs in two days have killed an estimated 26 people in Sri Lanka and injured many more, police say.
The second blast Saturday struck a crowded bus near the tourist resort of Hikkadujwa, south of Colombo, killing at least 15 people and injuring dozens, the BBC reported.
Six people died and 63 others were reported hurt when a bomb exploded beneath a civilian bus at rush hour 20 miles east of Colombo Friday, Asiantribune.com said.
Tamil Tigers rebels were blamed for both attacks though they deny any responsibility.
Earlier Saturday, four soldiers and a civilian died in three bomb blasts in north Sri Lanka.
