Survey: Biel's body tops surgery requests
HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 26 A pair of California doctors say replicating U.S. actress Jessica Biel's curves are among the top plastic surgery requests they receive.

Surgeons Richard Fleming and Toby Mayer of The Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery say Biel's body, along with actress Angelina Jolie's lips and film star Katie Holmes' eyes, were cosmetic surgery patients' top requests, The Daily Telegraph reported Friday.

The doctors say many patients tab specific body parts from noted celebrities in an attempt to put together the ideal face and body combination.

"Our patients continue to turn to Hollywood to raise their standard of beauty," Fleming said. "Our patients want to look rested, energetic and, most of all, youthful like the celebrities they see in glossy magazines."

Other top celebrity features included heiress Paris Hilton's complexion, "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl's nose and actress Keira Knightley's cheeks.

The British newspaper said top male celebrity features included actor George Clooney's cheeks, soccer star David Beckham's body and the eyes of the newest James Bond actor, Daniel Craig.

'NYPD Blue' episode may prompt FCC fine
WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 The Federal Communications Commission has proposed that U.S. TV stations that aired a controversial episode of "NYPD Blue" be hit with a $1.43 million fine.

The Washington Post said if the fine proposed by the FCC for the 2003 episode is approved, the ABC affiliates would be facing the second-largest indecency fine ever levied against a TV broadcaster.

The episode at the center of the indecency fine aired Feb. 25, 2003, and featured full dorsal nudity of an actress, along with a side view of one of her breasts.

FCC officials have said such content violates the commission's regulations regarding TV episodes airing between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

According to those regulations, radio and TV stations may not broadcast sexual or excretory material that could be considered "patently offensive" due to the possibility of child viewers.

The Post said the proposed fine falls short of the FCC's 2006 proposed fine of $3.6 million against CBS TV stations regarding a 2004 "Without A Trace" episode.

Picketing of SAG Awards called off
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 26 The Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony in Los Angeles Sunday will not be picketed by behind-the-scenes Hollywood workers after all, it was reported.

The Los Angeles Times reports that while an unspecified number of so-called below-the-line Hollywood crew members had planned to picket the awards event, the leader behind the planned demonstration has called it off.

Set decorator Mel Cooper had initially called for picketing at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium to draw attention to the fact that the writers' strike is affecting thousands of people who work behind the scenes in movies and television, including vendors. But he later said renewed contract talks made the rally unnecessary.

The Writers Guild of America strike is in its 12th week, but guild officials have resumed negotiating with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.

Cooper did tell the Times that if the renewed talks fail to reach a compromise, his group of Hollywood workers would plan a rally to bring additional awareness their plight during the lengthy employment dispute.

Reports: Jolie pregnant with twins
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 26 Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, known for her roles in films like "Beowolf" and "Gia," is pregnant with twins, reports said.

While news of the 32-year-old actress' second pregnancy was exclusively reported by Star magazine on Thursday, The Daily Mail seconded the news regarding the "A Mighty Heart" star on Friday.

An unidentified source reportedly told Star magazine that Jolie and actor Brad Pitt were excited by the pregnancy news, but added the pair likely have not ruled out additional adoptions in the future. "But I still think there will be more adoptions to come," the source told the publication.

Jolie gave birth to a daughter, Shiloh, in May 2006 and the Hollywood couple has adopted three other children from various countries worldwide.
