London - The title of the new James Bond film due later this year is Quantum of Solace, producers at London's Pinewood Studios revealed Thursday. Ukrainian model and actress Olga Kurylenko, 28, has been cast as the new Bond girl, the "dangerously alluring" Camille, while Casino Royale star Daniel Craig reprises his role as the famous spy.

The hotly-anticipated movie, until now provisionally entitled Bond 22, also stars British newcomer Gemma Arterton, 21, in the role of a female agent.

Producer Michael G Wilson said the title for the new Bond, which can be roughly translated as "a dose of solace," was taken from an original story by Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond.

"It's from a Fleming short story from the compendium For Your Eyes Only. It's uncharacteristic of most of Fleming's work," he said.

"It's a character study that doesn't involve plots or anything with spies. We thought it was an intriguing title that references what's happening to Bond and what's happening to him in this film," Wilson hinted.

Bond producer Barbara Broccoli said: "It's not a revenge movie. It's much more complicated than that. There's much more action and it also deals with the inner turmoil of Bond following Casino Royale."

Wilson said it had been a "challenge" to come up with another idea for a Bond movie.

"But I think having Daniel in our minds as we write the stories has been very helpful. We made a decision to make them more real in the last film and that gives us something to go on," said Wilson.

"`There's much more action in this film compared to the last film. There's probably twice as much action sequences. It's pretty much jam-packed," he revealed.

"This one is an original Fleming title. That's really important to us. It really suits the film. That's why we chose it," said Wilson.

Broccoli said she expected Craig, whose casting was criticised by many Bond fans when it was first announced, to make more 007 films after this one.

"We have talked about doing more films with him. He seems very happy to do that. So we'll just film one at a time," she said.
