LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3 Screenwriter Kimberly Lofstrom, Hollywood's latest chiller maven, has a scary story of her own to contend with -- lymphoma.The creator of the new fright flick The Curve says her battle with Hodgkins lymphoma three years ago helped inspire the script about a woman who is trapped in a wrecked car with a psycho hitchhiker lurking in the area. It hit me that I was writing about how I felt through the past year, Lofstrom told the Los Angeles Times Wednesday. Being sick is a lot like being trapped.She said the experience of treatment plus the penning of The Curve took her budding writing career in a different direction, but she wouldn ' t go through it again no matter how big a breakthrough it might lead to.
