SYDNEY, Dec. 31 Nearly a million revelers in Sydney, Australia welcomed 2007 with a $3 million fireworks display.The display paid tribute to the Sydney Harbor Bridge, which turns 75 in 2007, the Australian Broadcasting Corp. reported Sunday. A separate display had a Wizard of Oz theme and ended with a giant rainbow effect across the sky. Smaller celebrations took place in Tasmania and Surfer's Paradise.Few arrests were reported in Sydney -- most alcohol-related, the broadcaster said.Copyright 2006 by UPI
