INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 1 A security guard at a private New Year's Eve party at an Indianapolis bar was fatally wounded Tuesday in a shooting that left four others injured.
Three of those shot were security guards, The Indianapolis Star reported.
Police Lt. Jeff Duhamell said the trouble apparently began with a fight inside Durty Nelly's, an Indianapolis pub. As the security guards tried to move the people involved out, someone fired from the parking lot into the crowd in front of the pub.
The dead man was identified as Ronnie Croom Jr., 30. Croom and two others were taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital, while two othe rshooting victims got to the emergency room on their own.
Police had no suspects, Duhamell said.
"We have very little to go on right now," he said.
