LANCASTER, Pa., Dec. 27 A tractor-trailer driver was going too fast when he hit a sharp turn and lost his load, spilling thousands of chickens on a Pennsylvania road, police said.
The driver -- whose identity was not immediately reported -- was being treated for minor injuries Thursday while employees of the truck's owner, BC Natural Chicken, chased down loose chickens in Brecknock Township, WGAL-TV, Lancaster, reported.
The driver was hauling 6,000 chickens when his rig overturned.
"The truck tractor, as it entered a pretty sharp turn
the operator lost control," Trooper Phillip Matson told the TV station.
