ALVIN, Texas, Dec. 12 The father of a Texas girl suspended from school for taking a cell phone photo of a fellow cheerleader's bare back at home on a weekend isn't happy.

Michael Bailey's 13-year-old eighth grade daughter was suspended Nov. 6 after the photo was sent to several male classmates in Alvin, south of Houston.

"This makes me realize how little control I have over my daughter when the school district can take action on something that happened at my home on a Saturday," Bailey told the Houston Chronicle.

Bailey said his daughter took the picture as her friend was coming out of the shower during a weekend sleepover last month, but only the top of the girl's back was visible in the small, fuzzy image.

Both girls and the three boys who viewed the photo were suspended from school for three days, Bailey said.

The school board met Tuesday night and heard Bailey's complaints, but took no action, the newspaper said.
