READING, Pa., Dec. 22 As part of an agreement with Donald Trump, U.S. co-owner of the Miss Universe group, Miss USA Tara Conner has checked into rehabilitation, a report says.

People magazine reported the now 21-year-old Miss USA checked into a Pennsylvania rehab center Thursday for likely the next three weeks to undergo required treatment for her rumored drug and alcohol problems.

By seeking treatment at the center, Conner will be able to keep her crown thanks to a second chance from the real estate mogul.

I have always been a believer in second chances, Trump had said of Conner, who allegedly was found to be engaging in underage drinking prior to her birthday Monday. Tara is good person. Tara has tried hard. Tara is going to be given a second chance.Trump also said that if Conner's treatment, which will include regular drug tests, proves to be a success, that she could ultimately prove to be a role model for others, People said.

I don't think she's denying she's an alcoholic, Trump said in Conner ' s defense. She can be a great example for troubled people -- and she's troubled.
