Kontiolahti, Finland - Martina Glagow made it two wins in a row in the biathlon World Cup when she beat fellow German Kati Wilhelm in a dramatic finish in the women's 7.5-kilometre sprint on Friday. Glagow, 28, posted 21 minutes 24.1 seconds and was again faultless on the shooting range, with Wilhem only three-tenths of a second behind despite one penalty lap at Kontiolahti, Finland.
Norway's Tora Berger was a close third, 0.6 seconds behind, with last year's World Cup winner Andrea Henkel making it three Germans in the top four by finishing fourth at 3 seconds.
Home fans had something to cheer with Kaisa Varis fifth at 16.9 seconds, and Finnish team-mate Kaisa Maekaeraeinen sixth at 18.3 seconds.
It was a 13th career win for Glagow, who on Thursday had demonstrated her shooting form by hitting all 20 targets on the range to win the 15km.
After the second of 26 races, Glagow moves to 100 points, with Simone Denkinger of Germany second overall on 71 and Anna Carin Olofsson of Sweden on 60.
