BOSTON, Nov. 30 Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce teamed for 50 points Thursday night in carrying the Boston Celtics to a 104-59 romp over New York.
It took a three-point shot from almost mid-court as the buzzer sounded to keep the Knicks from setting a franchise low for points in the shot-clock era.
Allen and Pierce had 21 points each and Garnett scored eight, as all three players went to the bench early in the second half. Boston's three stars came within nine points of equaling New York's total.
Boston has won all eight of its home games this season and the Knicks have lost all seven of their road contests.
Nate Robinson was the only New York player to reach double figure with 11 points.
