SEATTLE, Nov. 29 An asbestos victims organization says it has found asbestos in several toys and consumer products sold in the United States.

The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization said at least two of three labs hired by the group found asbestos in a toy called the CSI Fingerprint Examination Kit, two brands of children's play clay, powdered cleanser, roof sealers, duct tapes, window glazing, spackling paste and small appliances, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported Wednesday.

The group said high levels of two types of asbestos were found in two of the three fingerprint powders included in the fingerprinting kit.

CBS Consumer Products said it has asked its licensee to immediately conduct an independent test for asbestos. "If the toy is determined to be unsafe, then we will insist that the licensee remove it from the market," a CBS spokesman said in a statement.

The kit is manufactured and distributed by Planet Toys in New York.

Asbestos also allegedly was found in six colors of clay in the Art Skills' Clay Bucket and in three varieties of Ja-Ru Toy Clay, the newspaper said.
