New York, Nov 19 - Former Beatles legend John Lennon's personal assistant May Pang has revealed in her new book 'Instamatic Karma' that the singer was planning to buy a house for them in Montauk. She writes that Lennon in 1975 was impressed with the Hamptons after he stayed with Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, pagesix.com reports. She said: 'During that visit, John and I saw a lovely Scottish-style cottage which was for sale, next to the famed lighthouse owned by Peter Beard and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. John decided it was time for us to have our own home and asked the real estate agent to show us the place. We fell in love with it and were about to put a binder on it the weekend of February 1st.'She doesn't explain why the plans didn't pull through and just added, 'Some things just weren't meant to be.'Pang had no idea how serious her affair with Lennon would get when his partner Yoko Ono encouraged her to have an affair with the singer. May Pang is deluded if she thought she was going to be in a serious relationship with Lennon. She was told upfront what the arrangement was, that it was temporary and still she is trying to convince the world that it was something more. May Pang was an employee who was instructed to become a concubine for Lennon during a trial seperation. She was given this assignment by Yoko. May is so bitter that John returned to Yoko (as he always said he would)that she will try anything including making up stories to inflate her importance in his life.

I wonder how John could have bought a house when his assets were frozen due to his deporation status. May said in her first book that John had no access to his money, they lived off a 10 grand advance from capital. Sounds like horsecrap to me. Besides he went back to Yoko in 1975 so she has her years wrong as well. Why is she rehashing the same stuff? She wrote about this in her book that came out in 1983. Who gives a hoot today? It is all old news. Guess some people will exploit anyone for money.

I read Mays first book I think it was in 1983 why didn't she mention this or the other things in the one book and write another one? It's got to be to make money off of John's name.
