BUFFALO, N.Y., Nov. 16 Clarke MacArthur scored twice Friday night in his first multi-goal NHL game, lifting the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-1 decision over Montreal.

Daniel Paille and Drew Stafford also scored for Buffalo, ending the Sabres' three-game losing streak. Goaltender Ryan Miller won for only the second time in his last seven starts, making 36 saves.

Montreal's goal came from Michael Ryder, while Cristobal Huet gave up four goals on 28 shots.
