NEW YORK, Dec. 13 Liza Minnelli's ex-husband, David Gest, is being sued by his New York attorney for failure to pay legal bills in his split with the singer.Gest's bitter breakup with Minnelli has kept him in Manhattan Supreme Court, causing him to run up legal bills he apparently isn't paying, the New York Daily News said Wednesday.Lawrence Omansky is suing Gest for $31,619.50, saying the fees are for legal services from April through August, which comes to nearly $8,000 per month for the public squabble with the Cabaret star. Gest, 53, accuses Minelli of failing to tell him she had a sexually transmitted disease when she married him in March 2002. They were separated less than 18 months later, in July 2003.He later sued her for some $10 million, claiming she had roughed him up while drunk during their marriage.
