Johannesburg/Maseru - Britain's Prince Harry was in the tiny southern African mountain kingdom of Lesotho on Monday to discuss aid projects, a statement from his charity Sentebale (Forget-Me-Not) said. Founded in 2006 by the prince and Lesotho's Prince Seeiso Bereng Seeiso, the charity helps vulnerable children and young people in Lesotho, particularly those orphaned as a result of AIDS.

The 23-year-old prince, who was making his fifth visit to Lesotho, along with Prince Seeiso toured some of the charity's projects, meeting AIDS orphans.

The princes' charity aims to build on the success of the British Red Cross' Lesotho Fund, which was set up in 2004 to administer the money raised after the broadcast of a documentary on Harry's first trip to Lesotho that year.

Up to 70 people are estimated to die from HIV/AIDs in Lesotho every day.

The British prince had at the time of Sentebale's founding said he hoped with his charity work to follow the example of his late mother, Princess Diana.
