Sevilla defender Escude out for another three weeks

Madrid - Champions League side Sevilla announced on Monday afternoon that Julien Escude would be out injured for another three weeks. The French defender has aggravated the pubis injury which he first suffered in August.

Escude was called up for the French national squad two weeks ago, but had to leave the training camp without playing in the European Championship qualifying matches against the Faroe Islands and Lithuania.

Escude will now miss at least three more Spanish league matches, as well as Sevilla's Champions League clash away to Steaua Bucharest on November 7.
