Hamburg - Roger Federer of Switzerland made sure of topping the year's end men's tennis rankings for a fourth consecutive year with a victory at home in Switzerland in Basle. Federer has an unstoppable 1,820-point lead from Rafael Nadal at the top of the rankings released on Monday. Federer has 7,205 points, while the Spaniard has 5,385.
The only change in Monday's ranking was the swapping of places between Tommy Robredo and Fernando Gonzalez.
Gonzalez, who suffered an early defeat in Basle slipped down to ninth, while Robredo moved to eighth.
